The number of participants is limited. While the first webinar on the 4th of January is already full, reflecting the great interst from teachers and educators to be a part of the EDU-ARCTIC family, there are still places for the webinars on the 10th and 19th of January. To register for the webinar, all you need to do is click on the "Enrol now" button on the description of the webinar.

To participate in the transmission, only a computer with Internet access, a webcam, speakers and an updated Java plug-in will be needed. The webinar will be held in English. Please note that time is provided in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

This first webinars will be followed by more webinars for teachers as well as online lessons for school students on different topics related to the Arctic. Registration is now offically open, and all are very welcome to join EDU-ARCTIC family to follow the project's activities and use all the EDU-ARCTIC poject's tools.

The first online lesson scheduled for 12 January will focus on the topic of the Polar night. Experts from the best European institutions will answer questions such as "How dark is the Polar night?" "What do reindeer have in common with the Earth’s rotational angle?" "Why is PINGO not a penguin?" and many others.
